Georgia football smashes Oregon to start the season, according to Twitter.

After thrashing the Oregon Ducks 49-3, the Georgia Bulldogs established a case for being recognised as the top team in the nation. The Bulldogs and Kirby Smart continued their successful campaign from the previous one.

Stetson Bennett, Georgia’s starting quarterback, exuded great confidence and gave the impression that he was in charge of the offence. Bennett scored a total of three touchdowns.

Georgia’s defence prevented Oregon from entering the end zone and picked off two passes from Bo Nix. Malaki Starks, a defensive back who is just a true freshman, made a fantastic pick-six of Nix. Bo Nix was intercepted by seasoned safety Christopher Smith as well. Smith unfortunately suffered an injury in the second half.

The team played pretty well as a whole. On its first seven possessions, Georgia’s offence scored touchdowns and converted on third down seven times in a row to start the game. In the resounding victory, the offence was incredibly effective, averaging 9.2 yards per play.
